About Us
At Reimer Insurance & Finance our desire has remained the same; that all clientele will find our office to be a, safe and caring place of business. To feel "special" is what we want for you. It is from this mindset, that we have grown primarily, through word of mouth.
We are an Independent Insurance & Investment place of business, so the advice, and products discussed, are not bound to any one company.
Travel Insurance
Many Canadians believe that our Government health program covers everything - they don't! The cost of just one medical incident can destroy you financially. It is important to know that you are protected. You choose the plan that is best for your vacation or business needs.
Single Trip Emergency Medical: Protects you in the event of medical emergencies when you are travelling out of Canada. Usual coverage is from $2 million up to $5 million for emergency benefits. Single Trip is good for short and long trips.
Multi Trip Emergency Medical: This is a great plan for business and casual travelers. Buy it once and take as many trips as you want in a year. These plans (in most cases) provide coverage for trips fewer than 15 days or 30 days. Great for truck drivers, cross border shoppers, or frequent trips out of Canada, you will find this plan saves both time and money.
Trip Cancellation & Interruption: Unexpected events may force you to cancel your trip or change your return date. This covers you before and after departure in case of medical emergencies, cancelled business meetings, weather delays, airline cancellations and more.
Baggage Loss, Damage & Delay: Lost, stolen or damaged baggage, belongings and currency can be a big problem when travelling. This coverage works for replacement and includes coverage for when belongings are delayed to your destination.
Student Plan: Whether you are out of province or outside of Canada, Student Plans can help you by offering peace of mind, knowing that are covered in the event of a medical emergency.
Immigrants & Visitors to Canada: Whether visiting or immigrating to Canada permanently, this will cover the cost of emergency medical treatment and care. You choose the deductible, the amount of coverage, and the number of days in Canada.
Note: "New To Canada" families or individuals, often overlook this coverage. In case of emergency, the agony of paying medical bills while in the midst of settling here, can be devastating for the family.
